Play Therapy

For children ages 4-11, we recommend Child-Centered Play Therapy services. 

Child-Centered Play Therapy is founded on the belief that “play is a child’s language, and toys are their words.” When you bring your child to Havenwood, we won’t ask them to sit on a couch and talk for 50 minutes (we can all imagine how THAT would go!). Instead, we invite your child into the playroom, where we can provide a safe space for them to process through play. Hollins Cuttino is a seasoned play therapist who delights in working with children and their grown ups to strengthen relationships, reawaken joy, heal from trauma and grief, and cultivate courage.

Adolescents

For adolescents ages 12-18, we recommend talk therapy services. 

Being a teenager has always been tough. But in the age of social media, teens are struggling more than ever before. At Havenwood, we are passionate about helping teens form a strong foundation through identity work, emotion regulation skills, social skills, body image work, and cultivation of self esteem. We believe that having a sturdy adult to talk to (outside of your immediate family) is a game changer. We would be honored to be that adult for your teenager.

Adults
